Another impactful secondment has taken place at DunavNET! Our agricultural engineer, Nemanja Mišić, recently concluded his time at the Université de Pau et des Pays de l’Adour (UPPA) and IPREM Institute as part of the TRACEWINDU project. During this opportunity, he explored advanced techniques in wine analysis, gaining essential insights into the technical analyses and technologies used in the UPPA laboratory under the guidance of esteemed Professor Olivier Donard.

While collaborating with the UPPA team, Nemanja deepened his understanding of WP2 work, focusing on simplifying and interpreting complex isotope data for various stakeholders in the wine value chain. His visits to renowned wine regions such as Bordeaux and Saint-Émilion further enhanced his perspective on the wine market, production systems, and the critical role of terroir.

This experience has been instrumental, allowing Nemanja to present his ongoing work to the WP2 team and engage in discussions about data presentation and transparency in the wine industry. We look forward to leveraging these insights in future projects at DunavNET!
